Please note that the Analysis Plus Big Silver Oval speaker cable has won a “Golden Ear” award in The Absolute Sound.

In addition, the Bel Canto CD2 has had a great review in the current issue (December) of Hi Fi World and is featured on the front cover.

Brand new range of Caterthun Loudspeaker System made by Alacrity Audio new company on the market .All new patented approach hand-crafted speakers bring unbridled joy and clarity to every range and frequency through an incredible spectrum of agile response and stability.
Designed and built in the UK with ‘next-level sound’ in mind, Alacrity Audio’s Caterthun loudspeaker system does not compromise on materials, using the highest-quality hand-picked components and finishing the English Oak cabinets in a hard-wearing lacquer. They bring a touch of class to any room.
Each speaker is carefully tailored to Alacrity Audio’s exacting standards and thanks to our patented Acoustic Induction cabinet loading technology, constant world-beating sound quality is guaranteed with full bass-authority and upper-range delicacy.
The Caterthun range from Alacrity Audio has only one function – to reveal the true dynamics of the sounds you love.
As next week I was lucky enough to get a pair of prototypes in White to play with/demo for few weeks.Speakers are suppose to be resonating to all possible frequencies instead of not resonating at all .

I'm pleased to announce we have become a oficial agent for ATC for the Isle Of Man.As a first arrival from the ATC it will be ATC SCM 40 and will be available for demo soon.

I'm pleased to announce we have a few new arrivals in the house for anyone who would like to come and take a look or listen. One of them is the most beautiful and the most musical phono/pre Aestetix IO Signature, which is a two box solution phono/pre with separate power supply. Our unit is black with volume controls; and as Martin from Audio Reference, the  importer of Asthetix for UK ,says, this is the first unit in whole of the UK.

Signature, released in 2001, was the first major step forward for the Io and Callisto. Incorporating improved componentry such as Dynamicaps from Peter Moncrief and hand tuning the individual gain stages, greater resolution and inner detail were achieved without sacrificing the richness and dynamic bloom of the original design.

The Signature version uses custom-made inter-stage Teflon coupling capacitors, replacing the polypropylene units, between the 1st and 2nd gain stages. This change results in very high resolution of the very low signal level. Between the 2nd and 3rd, and 3rd and 4th gain stages (4 total per channel), the standard Rel-Caps are replaced with .22uF Dynamicap. The change in these capacitors results in higher resolution, extension, less grain and more air. The 2uF output coupling capacitors (4 per channel) are also replaced with 4uF Dynamicaps. This change provides more drive, bass extension, resolution and dynamics while also reducing grain. Highly specialized adjustable air-core capacitors, used primarily in the radio-frequency realm, are installed and adjusted to "tweek" each unit to a rigid standard.

Another of the new arrivals is Clearaudio DaVinci V2 which is from the new range of the famous moving coil cartridge family of the Clearaudio.Aur demo cartridge is fitted to Clearaudio Unify Tonearm and Clearaudio Champion Magnum Turntable.

The Clearaudio "da Vinci" V2 is mechanical, magnetic and electrically completely symmetrical designed and handcrafted Moving Coil cartridge of the highest quality.
For a faster resonance conduction, the aluminium body is covered with an extreme rigid and 30 micron thick ceramic layer. The clearaudio patented construction of the MC cartridge "da Vinci" V2, has the lightest moving mass, due to integrated micro-gold coils, which are smaller and lighter than in a normal Moving coil construction.
Through the use of 8 magnets and as a result of the best possible correlation of the magnetic field - we have reached an enhancement in the dynamic range by over 30%.

The clearaudio "da Vinci" V2 is, with its exceptional design and outstanding technical data, a MC-cartridge of the absolute top class.

In next few days we are waiting for more but one of them  is Bel Cato DAC 3.5 later on we will have a full range of the Bel Canto to play with.

The DAC3.5VB converts your digital media into music providing maximum system performance and control with the most direct connection to your amplifier. The DAC3.5VB delivers the highest dynamic range and lowest output noise from both analog and digital sources revealing the subtle detail in your music.

The Bel Canto Dual-Differential DAC3.5VB Control Center features a class leading 126dB dynamic range with our proprietary low noise digital to analog convertor core. Including five 24/192 digital inputs, high speed ST fiber and a 24/192 ADC analog input, the DAC3.5VB integrates and controls all of your audio sources including an analog input for a phono preamp or Home Theater Bypass. The front panel features a single multifunction control knob that selects inputs and controls volume level. The DAC3.5VB also includes our new 8 character alpha-numeric display and the ability to control balance, absolute phase and to rename and disable unused inputs.

At the begining of the September we shoud have a Towshend Seismic Stand custom modified for us.

The Seismic Sink Stand, with its beautiful lines and elegant simplicity, sets a new level of performance, style and practicality. Of minimalist design with the shelf supporting pillars closely spaced at the sides and the suspension mechanism at the bottom. The Seismic Sink Stand allows the equipment to be seen un-obstructed by big bulky pillars common to other designs. Designed to be 100% maintenance-free and manufactured to the highest standards, the Seismic Sink Stand is engineered to last a lifetime.

The ingenious arrangement of uprights and plates, with most compliant load cells at each corner, in conjunction with the mass of the stand (plus equipment), form a stable suspended mass/spring low-pass filter with an attenuation of about 20dB per decade above 2Hz. This ensures that deleterious ground-borne vibrations from 4Hz and above are virtually eliminated.  Isolating audio/video components from vibration increases fidelity and imparts an openness and clarity to the sound, with gains in focus and solidity of image, which a non-suspended stand simply cannot approach.

“Sometimes an upgrade is so shocking you drop what you are doing and look up startled…From the off the sound was transformed…not just better, but a sound of a very different nature.” Noel Sidebottom, Chief Archivist, British Sound Archive, London
